Totally Beat-A-Bull: Miami Takes Game 2 From Chicago with Gritty 85-75 Win

Isn’t this great? All we’re going to hear for the next 3 days from the Windy City is crickets chirping. That’s what happens when you home court advantage gets snatched from you.

Miami came out on top in hard fought contest that had players on both side bleeding and fighting for every point.

On Sunday, Coach Spoelstra said that there was  no calvary coming, well coach obviously you had no clue that Udonis Haslem was about come to the rescue. The Heat fed off their captain’s energy and managed to out hustle and rebound a Bulls team that had boasted big edges in both categories during every prior encounter this year.

Haslem’s 13 points pale in comparison to LeBron James and Dwyane Wade’s stats but make no mistake UD was the MVP of  Wednesdays game.

Just as encouraging was the continued late game clutch shot making of James. Just like versus Boston in Game 5, James managed to take over late and carry the Heat to victory.

One side victory Wednesday nigt may be that Miami seems to have found a line up that Chicago can’t match up with. That being Bosh, Haslem, James, Miller and Wade. It was the line up Heat fans waited all year to see. If you recall at one time those 5 were the only guys even on the roster. Well when the time came for them to finally play together they seemed to click and cause all kinds of problems for Derrick Rose and the Bulls. Let’s hope we see more of that come Game 3. Either way it’s great to Miami’s playoff life looking strong now that the Heats heart has returned to the court.
