LeBron, D-Wade Lead the Way as Heat Beat Blazers

At the end of the first quarter, it looked like the Blazers were going to give the Heat a game. Then, by halftime, the score was Blazers 42, LeBron and Dwyane 41. The real score was 60-42, and from then on, Miami never looked back and extended their winning streak to 9 games.

LeBron had 38 points and 11 rebounds and Wade had 33 points, 12 in the 2nd qurater, and 10 assists. They put the extra scoring load on their back with Bosh out due to his grandmother’s death. Udonis Haslem had a big game with 14 rebounds and 11 points and Joel Anthony also grabbed 7 boards.

Dexter Pittman also got some valuable time and it surprises me that Spo didn’t put in Eddy Curry at all. Also with Bosh out, it’s a bit of a surprise that James Jones didn’t get to play again.

The Heat are looking fierce. If they can continue this momentum, it doesn’t look like anyone will be able to stop them. Tonight the Heat take on the Jazz in Utah, so check back later for a preview!
