RareInk Delivers Art To An Unexpected New Spectrum: the NBA Community

Face it, art in today’s society doesn’t carry near the same significance it did when it was considered a valuable channel to proclaim political and sociological statements.

RareInk.com has chosen to be one of the lone exceptions to the rule. Created by Tim Muret, RareInk is a company devoted to creating exceptional pieces of art with its subjects either being NBA team logos or players. The work was such a success that even the NBA itself partnered with Tim and RareInk, in order to jump on one of the most innovative ideas to come out of the outlet of sports.

Ranging from pieces that showcase LeBron James and his aerial assaults to throwback pieces that feature the likes of “Run-TMC” and Michael Jordan’s high-flying dunks that brought him immense fame, the artists who creates all of these pieces have found themselves a permanent niche within the NBA and its growing community of devoted fans.

The Miami Heat are featured prominently on RareInk. Subjects include the likes of Dwyane Wade, the prominent players of the 2012 championship team, the logo itself, and, of course, LeBron James in all of his royal glory.

This particular piece, created by Tes One, may become the staple of any fan who wants to memorialize James and his pursuit towards becoming the best player to have ever stepped onto the hardwood.
