Game 1: Heat vs. Bucks -- Live Blogging, First Quarter

Welcome to my live blogging of Heat-Bucks!

Don’t forget to follow me on twitter @jaebradley or All U Can Heat on twitter @allucanheat1!

First Quarter:

Bucks started slow (down by double digits early) but finished strong on a 16-5 run.  Brandon Jennings was fantastic for the Bucks with 10 points, including several tough mid/long -range jumpers.  LeBron and Bosh both have 9 and 8 for the Heat, respectively.

0:45 –Bucks are going to live and die by the long jumpers.  Currently they’re living.  Brandon Jennings already has 10 points.

1:11 — GREAT give and go by LeBron and The Birdman!  LeBron found The Birdman wide open underneath the hoop, and as the defense collapsed, The Birdman fed the cutting LeBron for the And-1!

1:40 – Milwaukee is on an 11-2 run?  Probably the weakest 11-2 run I’ve ever seen….

2:40 — Heat passing in semi-transition is great.  The kick-and-drives are really carving the Bucks apart.  Already 7 assists.

3:00 — Milwaukee has come back from a slow start and are only down 17-23.  Brandon Jennings has five points — Mario Chalmers is not playing great defense, especially when BJ3 hit that three: Chalmers was just nowhere to be found.

5:00 — Brandon Jennings with a three off of a pick-and-roll.  Heat gotta tighten up.

In case you watch Blake Griffin’s Kia commercial and don’t know what paddle shifters are (like me).

7:00 – Milwaukee has three offensive rebounds already.  Gotta box out.

9:00 — Bosh gives up open three and instead passes to Haslem, who shoots wide-open midrange jumper…and misses.  First miss of the game for the Heat. Heat lead 12-4.

10:00 — The Heat have four possessions and four shots.  Heat lead 10-2!

11:00 — Steal, quick transition, then Wade to LeBron for the AND-1!

Miami Starting Lineup:

Mario Chalmers, Dwayne Wade, LeBron Heat, Udonis Haslem, and Chris Bosh

Bucks Starting Lineup:

Brandon Jennings, Monta Ellis, Ersan Ilyasova, Luc Mbah a Moute, and LARRY SANDER!
