Welcome to my live blogging of Heat-Bucks!
Don’t forget to follow me on twitter @jaebradley and All U Can Heat on twitter @allucanheat1!
0.0 — With Brandon Jennings on the bench, the Heat lead after the end of the third quarter, 85-60.
12.4 — Cue the “MVP” chants for LeBron James.
1:00 — Birdman with the follow tip dunk! James celebrates by doing the Bird.
Stats Update — LeBron has 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists. Triple Double time?
2:00 — LEBRON WITH THE THROW DOWN! #DUNKFACE
2:24 — Brandon Jennings is on the bench…No matter, Ellis crosses up Ray Allen and hits the elbow jumper. #HeatingUp?
3:00 — Allen for three! Beats the shot clock! With 1.1 seconds left on the shot clock, Allen gets the ball with J.J. Reddick “guarding” him, and hits the three.
Commenting on the Commentator:
Reggie Miller has been talking about how Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis “have to keep on forcing these shots”. Miller’s argument is that without these two players forcing shots, the Bucks have no offense. That is a seriously bogus argument. Just because Reggie, Monta, and BJ3 have probably never seen a shot they didn’t like between the three of them, doesn’t mean that the Bucks offense should revolve around chuckers keeping on chucking. It’s just not sustainable. Ilyasova can shoot the ball.
The only time they should force the ball is late in the shot clock.
4:17 — Shane Battier gets his revenge on Brandon Jennings. Shane Battier takes the offensive foul. Reggie Miller: “93 year old Shane Battier takes the charge!”
5:00 — ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! Brandon Jennings forces a ridiculous three — only Shane Battier fouls him and he makes the three. Your “traditional” four point play.
5:43 — LeBron And-1! Norris Cole penetrated into the lane and found Haslem with a great pass. Haslem missed but LeBron was there for the put-back and the old-fashioned three point play.
6:00 — Tough finish by Dwayne Wade after Norris Cole-Bosh pick-and-roll. The pick-and-rolls have been pretty effective against the Bucks.
Stats Update — Heat are shooting 53.7% from the field. The Bucks are shooting 38.2% from the field. The Bucks are also shooting 17.6% from the three point line.
9:00 — The Heat are passing the ball extremely well. Chalmers just picked up his fourth foul with a little less than 9 minutes left in the third. That’s huge.
9:30 — Bosh is playing well. Hits a three off a great pass from LeBron, and then drives hard to the basket for the foul. Again, good feed by LeBron.
11:30 — Ellis hits three to get Bucks within four points.
