Alright everybody, it’s time to get out the brooms…and get ready for the first sweep of the NBA playoffs (assuming the Celtics don’t blow their eight-point lead to the Knicks — which is a big assumption).
I have to admit, Game 3 was a little concerning, especially as the Bucks didn’t just stick around like they normally do, but were actually able to take a nine-point lead after the first quarter. It was the NBA playoff equivalent of that Seinfeld episode where George decides to do everything the opposite of what he would have done, to great success — the Bucks were “up” and the Heat were “down”.
…Until the Heat woke up and finished with a 104-91 win.
The big question I have for Game 4 is whether or not the Heat will come out like they did at the start of Game 3, looking like a bunch of lost puppies, or if they’ll come out with their brooms, looking to sweep the Bucks on their own home court.
The other question is how the Heat will react to Dwayne Wade’s absence. Ray Allen had 23 points last game — will he be able to keep up his hot shooting?
Game time: 3:30 PM on ABC.
