Matt Barnes: The Funniest Player From Last Night

Last night was an amazing night of NBA playoff basketball.  Knicks-Celtics, Thunder-Rockets…and Clippers-Grizzlies.  While there were many great moments, the funniest moments (other than Chandler Parsons trying to guard Kevin Durant) came from the Clippers’ Matt Barnes.

The first incident comes late in the fourth quarter of the Clippers-Grizzlies game with Memphis basically guaranteed victory.  Chris Paul gets his second technical foul for running into Marc Gasol (a little weak from Joey Crawford, but then again Joey is known for throwing people out of games for simply laughing).  Matt Barnes, who also has a technical foul thinks the technical is on him and goes absolutely berserk — it’s a miracle that he doesn’t get thrown out of the game.

About 30 seconds later, another technical is called (again by Joey Crawford…maybe he does call a lot more technicals than I’ve calculated) and Matt Barnes thinks the technical is on him again and has some choice words for Joey Crawford again.  Little does Matt Barnes know that Zach Randolph has actually picked up his second technical and that it is Randolph that has been thrown out of the game.

So Matt Barnes, thank you for capping off my night of awesome basketball, with two of the funniest moments I have seen in the playoffs so far.
