The “Wha—wha—what did Manu Just Do?!?!” Stage

…the ball went through Norris Cole’s legs.

It literally took a second to register.  I had no idea what happened.  I thought Manu had made the ball apparate, or maybe made it transport, or maybe split the space-time continuum — I had no freakin’ idea.

It wasn’t until I looked at the replay that I saw conclusive proof of what I suspected: Manu had just nutmegged Norris Cole.

Nutmegs happen in soccer.

They simply don’t happen in basketball.  At least not to people that are 10-15 feet away running at full speed.  And especially not to people with impeccable flat-tops (here’s to your amazing hair, Norris Cole).

What Manu Ginobili did is almost physically impossible.  If you tried doing this 100 times, 1,000 times, hell, 10,000 times — you might get it once, if you’re lucky.

Then again, physics?  What the f      is physics?  This is Manu Ginobili we’re talking about.  He doesn’t give a damn about physics.
