Jun 16, 2013; San Antonio, TX, USA; San Antonio Spurs shooting guard Danny Green (4) celebrates hotting a three-point shot against the Miami Heat during the fourth quarter of game five in the 2013 NBA Finals at the AT

Notice, however, that the previous chart didn’t take into account the number of threes attempted.  To solve this problem, one uses true shooting percentage, which basically, takes into account the number of threes, twos, and free throws, a player attempts in order to come up with a “true” measure of how well that player shot.  Over the regular season, LeBron James had a true shooting percentage of 64% and Kevin Durant had a true shooting percentage of 64.7%.

Over the NBA Finals, Danny Green has been absolutely bone crushing the shit out of those numbers.  Check out the chart below.

This is the “I Don’t Think Danny Granger Is Super Human, But I Could Be Wrong” Chart

It’s still 50-50 that Danny Green went to Germany before the NBA Finals, got some mysterious shooting awesomeness treatment done, and has been killing it since.

Wait, is that gonna get edited out?
