Chris Bosh calls out Bandwagon Heat Fans

Some of our bandwagon Heat fans left the building — albeit slightly tooooooo early as the San Antonio Spurs claimed a 5 point lead with only 28 seconds left in the game. Even the “yellow rope” committee began to set up, David Stern and the trophy crew began to assemble and the post-game celebration was about to start. But, LeBron James had other intentions. After a missed freethrow by Manu Ginobli, James connected on a deep three pointer to take the lead to just two.

Then after a Kwahi Leonard missed a freethrow, Ray Allen connected on the biggest three-pointer ever to tie the game and force overtime! However, these bandwagon fans didn’t see either of them, as they began to flee the arena and disperse into the streets. Maybe they were headed to South Beach for a late night swim? Beat the traffic? Who knows?

King James said it best.

“that’s why the game is played all the way to the zeros. As a fan, and people watching at home, I know it had to — wow — it had to do a lot to them.”

Yep. The game is not over until the fat lady sings — or in this case, when the buzzer rings loud & clear with zeros on the clock.

Heat Fans stay until the end. If you are reading this, I know you will — Stay classy MIAMI. We are better than this.
