Miami Heat: This Morning From Around The Web

Everything you need to know about the Miami Heat to go along with your All U Can Heat breakfast this morning.

Rachel B. Glaser, Blogspot/Huffington Post – This “Miami Heat Sleepover” painting by Rachel B. Glaser is, well, hilarious. Sorry Bosh, take the floor. LeBron calls top bunk! The painting and some commentary from our friends across the pond.

Ira Winderman, South Florida Sun-Sentinel - Same old, same old for Ira. Fans freaking out about the point guard rotation, lack of a true big man and asking about Veteran X, and if he is on Pat Riley’s radar. Ira says no, in regards to the Chauncey Billups this time. Ira has staunchley appossed the idea that Riley would go after another point guard and stunt the growth of Norris Cole. For me, I worry about Mario Chalmers’ expiring contract and see that the Heat have, at least somewhat, invested in younger guards with Cole and on this offseason’s summer league roster with Myck Kabongo.

Brenden Bowers, Bleacher Report - Bowers writes a patented Bleacher Report slide show piece about the five biggest obstacles facing the Miami Heat dynasty. I agree with four of the five obstacles, and disagree with the order. I do not believe that “Chris Bosh’s declining production” is an issue. That is a common misconception. People see Bosh listed at center, but he really plays more like a power forward. The team will likely have Chris Andersen from the beginning of the season, and will probably sign another veteran center to the minimum. The main thing standing in the way of another Heat title is the health Dwyane Wade, which Bowers has ranked third.
