Let’s break it down. (Hey! It’s the offseason!)
First, we see Lebron doing a seated shoulder press. But with 30 pound weights? Come on, LeBron. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t use the 30′s when doing shoulder presses, but I’m 155 pounds wet. The reigning MVP has got 100 pounds on me after Ramadan. My explanation for this is that the shoulder press resembles a shooting motion and James is building/maintaining endurance in his shoulders rather than strength.
Next we see him on the cable cross. A classic favorite for gym goers and meat heads. But LeBron is altering the exercise by standing on a two-by-four. Why? To build core strength while working out the plethora of muscles that the cable cross puts to the test.
Finally, he is wearing gym gloves. So, to all the guys that say wearing workout gloves is soft, tell that to LeBron.
