The NBA released the 2013-2014 schedule and the Miami Heat find themselves traveling on Christmas and Thanksgiving.
That’s no way to treat the reigning champs, right? At least, not according to Shane Battier.
The schedule I got said that we are on the road for Xmas and Turkey Day. I think I received a bad copy.

The Heat will travel to play the Los Angeles Lakers on Dec. 25 and though they don’t play a game on Thanksgiving, they play on that days before and after the big feast. The Heat will be in Cleveland on Nov. 27 and in Toronto — of all places — on Nov. 29.
I guess Battier will have to find a Denny’s in Los Angeles and Cleveland… and a Tim Horton’s in Canada.
