Dwyane Wade Used Shock Treatment For Knee Issues

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade has underwent shocking treatment.

…Shock treatment, I mean. Sorry for the typo.

Speaking to the Sun Sentinel, Wade said he underwent the procedure to treat tendinitis in his knee about a month ago, and that it takes a month to recover.

“Speaking before the start of his adult fantasy camp, Wade revealed that he underwent OssaTron shockwave treatment a month ago to deal with tendinitis.

Wade said the results have largely been favorable, hopeful for similar relief to what he experienced after a similar round of treatment in 2007.”

The Heat begin training camp Oct. 1, with their regular season to open Oct. 29 in Miami against the Chicago Bulls.
