HEAT BLOG: Chalmers Suspended for Miami Heat vs Charlotte Bobcats

Game time is 7 p.m. ET in Charlotte with local coverage.

Mario Chalmers suspended

After getting kicked out the Heat’s win against the Mavericks last night for his flagrant foul on Dirk Nowitzki, Chalmers will be suspended for tonight’s game against the Charlotte Bobcats, the NBA announced. Luckily for the Heat, Norris Cole has been playing some of the best ball of his career. Roger Mason Jr. will also see some time.

Super Bowl for Bobcats

This is the kind of game that the Bobcats should take advantage of. Charlotte is 5-4 and 2-2 at home. The Heat are coming off of a tough game against the Mavs and is short its starting point guard. Lesser teams usually get up for games against the Heat, and the Bobcats should sink their teeth into this one.

But they probably won’t.

In addition to Chalmers being suspended, the Heat are without Ray Allen and Dwyane Wade could miss the game too. The Bobcats will be without Al Jefferson, which could make this game supremely boring.
