LeBron James Leads All-Star Voting

Reigning MVP LeBron James leads all NBA players on the All-Star ballot with with 609,336 votes, while Kevin Durant is second with 607,407 votes.

Indiana Pacers forward Paul George is second in the Eastern Conference with 489,335 votes and the New York Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony is fourth with 424,211.

Dwyane Wade is the East’s leading vote-getter in the backcourt with 396,279 votes, followed by the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Kyrie Irving (365,712).

Durant is joined in the frontcourt in the West by the Houston Rockets’ Dwight Howard (295,120) and the L.A. Clippers’ Blake Griffin (292,925).

For the Western Conference, Kobe Bryant received 501,215 votes while Clippers’ Chris Paul got 393,313.

Balloting concludes on Monday, Jan. 20, and starters will be announced live on TNT on Thursday, Jan. 23.
