The Heat will first wear the Name Collection uniform during the January 10 road game against the Brooklyn Nets.Miami will wear them again for the home games on January 21 vs. the Boston Celtics and the March 12 and April 8 games versus the Nets.
As expected, LeBron James will wear “King James,” Dwyane Wade will have “D. Wade” and Chris Bosh will go, simply, with “CB.” Ray Allen will also take on his signature “Jesus Shuttlesworth” likeness.
In addition, Chris Andersen will wear “Birdman,” Michael Beasley with “B Easy,” Mario Chalmers with “Rio,” Norris Cole with “Cole Train,” Udonis Haslem with “UD,” Joel Anthony with “Doc” and James Jones with “JJ.”
As for the players whose nicknames were more mysterious, Shane Battier will go with “Battle,” Rashard Lewis with “Sweet Lew,” Roger Mason opted for “Moneymase” and Greg Oden went “G.O.”
