Miami Heat Tip Off Six-Game Road Trip Against the New York Knicks

The Miami Heat tip off a six-game road trip with the not-so-sensational New York Knicks, who will host the Heat Thursday at 8 p.m. at Madison Square Garden for the first of four meetings this season.

The Knicks have been battered all season and, now, amongst Carmelo Anthony trade rumors and J.R. Smith untying the shoes of opponents, sit at 10 game under .500.

The opposite goes for the Heat, who have won 11 of their last 13 games. LeBron James is coming off an Eastern Conference Player of the Month award and Dwyane Wade is looking healthy and spry.

The Heat went 1-3 against a more-together Knicks team last season.

For Miami, Mario Chalmers (Achilles) and Shane Battier (quad) are questionable. Metta World Peace (knee) is out and Tyson Chandler (illness), Pablo Prigioni (toe) and Raymond Felton (groin) are questionable for the Knicks.

Match-up to watch: Norris Cole and Iman Shumpert both have flat tops. Let’s hope they get switched to each other multiple times.
