LeBron James a Game-Time Decision With Broken Nose

After suffering a broken nose against the Oklahoma City Thunder Thursday night, LeBron James is listed as a game-time decision for Sunday’s game against Chicago, according to ESPN‘s Brian Windhorst.

An X-ray on Friday revealed that LeBron James suffered a broken nose when Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka hit him in the face on a drive to the basket Thursday night.

Windhorst writes that James is expected to play, however, and that the team will wait for the swelling to go down before deciding on treatment or if James will need to wear a mask.

James suffered the injury on a drive to the basket in the fourth quarter when Ibaka hit him on the nose. James finished the play with another step and a dunk before hitting the floor. No foul was called, even though James was bleeding on the court. He left the game and did not return. He finished with 33 points and seven rebounds. The Heat won 103-81.

The Heat play the Bulls at home at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
