Udonis Haslem To Start, Michael Beasley Out vs Bobcats

As expected, the Miami Heat’s starters for today’s game against the Charlotte Bobcats will be Mario Chalmers, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Udonis Haslem.

Michael Beasley (ankle) and Greg Oden are inactive.

Beasley tweaked his ankle in the season finale against the Philadelphia 76ers. Oden played a bit in that game, but won’t play tonight. It remains unclear how much he will contribute to the Heat in the postseason.

Haslem, who played just 653 minutes all season, made a late push into the starting lineup. He’s now starting at center in Game 1 of the playoffs.

LeBron reportedly had a back wrap on before the game, but said he is good to go.

The Heat and Bobcats telecast starts at 3:30 PM ET on ABC.
