Charlotte Bobcats Flew Back Home to Avoid Miami Night Life

It would appears that the Bobcats can’t handle Miami at all. After getting dismantled in the second half of Game 1 on Sunday afternoon, the Bobcats flew back home to Charlotte in order to avoid what is being defined as ‘Miami temptations’.

Basically, the Bobcats are the no fun team.

According to The Miami News Times, Bobcats head coach Steve Clifford said the trip back home was to keep his players focused on winning Game 2 and not on the nightlife that South Beat provides.

“Let’s face it — if it were a city other than Miami, we would have been more likely to stay a couple days.”

This is something that fans in Miami love to hear as it’s proof that their starting lineup on the hardwood isn’t the only intimidating thing about the team. The Bobcats don’t live that far away either, as it not like they have to fly across the country to get away from Miami, but the fact that they flew home is another badge of honor for the Heat and their city.
