The Miami Heat are a game away — and really mere hours away — from sweeping the Charlotte Bobcats out of the playoffs just like everyone expected. While at times the Bobcats effort was valiant, they stood no match against the Heat and were never expected to win.
Al Jefferson’s injury in Game 1 pretty much killed any notion of the Bobcats making anything of this series and that may be highlighted by the fact that he’s likely to miss Game 4 tonight in South Beach.
Bobcats Coach Steve Clifford says Al Jefferson not likely to play tonight: “He couldn’t do anything this morning. I would say it’s doubtful”

Jefferson’s absence and his lack of performing at 100 percent hurt the Bobcats who otherwise may have taken a game from the Heat. They nearly won Game 2 and had Jefferson been at 100 percent they very well might have. But he wasn’t and still isn’t and now the Bobcats best low post player will likely be out for the final game of the Bobcats’ season.
