Norris Cole Says He's Been Waiting for Postseason to Truly Shine

Norris Cole seems to be forgotten bout by the national media when it comes to players capable of producing in big ways for the Miami Heat. For a team that doesn’t have an insane amount of depth, Cole becomes more valuable the deeper into the postseason the Heat go.

For some, this brings on pressure that leads to mistakes. For Cole, this time of year is welcomed and looked forward to all other days of the season.

Per the Sun-Sentinel:

“I get more aggressive,” Cole said. “You take more chances. You still play within yourself and within the team concept and at the same time being aggressive. This is our time of year. This is what we’ve been waiting on. Me personally, this is what I’ve been waiting on.”

Cole has a chance to truly come into his own this postseason and so far he’s been showing that. He has work to do but this could be more than just a three-peat season for the Heat — it could be the coming out party for the next superstar point guard in the NBA.
