Should Heat Be Concerned About Jonas Valanciunas If Raptors Win?

The Miami Heat are looking to tonight’s Game 6 between the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets to see if their next round opponent will be decided. While the Nets have another game left if they win, the Raptors can close things out and bounce yet another favored team in this postseason.

Should the Raptors win, there are some Heat fans who are looking at center Jonas Valanciunas with some mild concern given the postseason he’s had, but its here really that much to be nervous about? Ira Winderman from the Sun-Sentinel thinks not, and points out that no matter the season the Raptors are having at the moment, the Heat owned them whenever they played.

Heat finished 4-0 against Jonas Valanciunas and Toronto during the regular season, so they must has done something right with that matchup.

It’s interesting to note that Nets were the team that was supposed to play the Heat in the Semifinals but now the Raptors appear in line for that right. A to of that has to do with Valanciunas but while he’s been a menace for the Nets, perhaps it’s DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lwory the Heat should be most worried about in the end.
