The Miami Heat may very well be matching up against the Toronto Raptors in the next round of the postseason and that will pit one of the Big 3 against the team he burned to join rank in South Beach. Chris Bosh’s exit from Toronto wasn’t as publicized or as ridiculed as LeBron James’ but there is still bad blood with fans.
Bosh isn’t worried about getting booed or razed by fans, but he is keeping an eye on his former team and will be watching their Game 7 showdown against the Nets.
“They’re in the wheelhouse right now,” Bosh said of the Raptors. “They’ve got two games at home in a best-of-3 series, but, with that said, there are a bunch of savvy veterans out there in Brooklyn, and they have yet to play their best basketball. With their backs against the wall, we’ll see how they react. They’re going to have to win a game in Toronto. Game 5 will be a huge one, so we’ll be in front of the TV watching and just waiting.”
It’s hard to say who the Heat matchup better against but no matter who they get it’s clear that there will be backstory regardless.
