The Miami Heat have no idea who they’re going to play in the next round of the postseason but no matter who it is, LeBron James will be ready. Despite getting punched in the throat with Josh McRoberts’ elbow and banging up his thigh pretty bad against the Bobcats in the first round, LeBron said this weekend that he’s ‘good to go’ in the next round of the NBA Playoffs.
“Not like this one,” James said, contemplating his last such injury. “This one hurt pretty bad. Obviously, I’ve been on top of it ever since it happened. It feels good. I’m in the right direction.”
The Heat may not need LeBron to be at 100 percent against the Raptors or Nets but they’ll no doubt need him at some point in the series. Unlike the Bobcats, both the Raptors and Nets are showing a lot of fight and there is a lot to be nervous about when it comes to their upset potentials.
Still, LeBron is an equalize and he’s going to control the series even if he’d not at 100 percent.
