Miami Heat Happy to Finally Be Healthy for Postseason

The Miami Heat are taking on the Brooklyn Nets this round and while they’re happy to be on to the Conference Semifinals, they’re mainly happy that they have 15 healthy bodies on the bench. Miami has been battling nagging injuries all season long but for the first time this postseason they’re finally completely healthy.

Per ESPN’s Heat Index:

“We have 15 guys ready to play now,” James said. “It was tough during the regular season to get that. But right now, where it matters most, we’re playing our best basketball. It’s a process, but at the end of the day, it’s a clean slate when the playoffs start. We know we have to play at a high level, and we’ve been able to do that so far.”

To say they’re completely healthy may have been a bit much, but they’re for the most part healthy and at the very least have the option of a full 15 man roster at their disposal. For a team that has been chastised for a lack of depth, there should be some power in numbers.
