Despite Postseason Thrills, Michael Jordan Still Crushes LeBron James

Miami Heat fans have a very harsh relationship with the Chicago Bulls but not just the Baby Bulls that can’t seem to stand on the noodle legs of their point guard, but with the dynasty the team is truly chasing — the Michael Jordan era Bulls. It’s not only the team itself that the Heat are chasing with championships but it’s LeBron James chasing Michael Jordan as well.

But while the Heat have only recently begun to chase the Bulls, LeBron has been chasing Jordan since high school and he’s only now starting to scratch his legacy. But every MVP LeBron gets and every awesome postseason game he turns in is still dwarfed by Michael Jordan and we can thank scribe Tim McGarry and his handy graph for pointing this out.

As the graph not he site shows, LeBron James has even career postseason games of 45 points or more which puts him 16 games behind Michael Jordan for the best of all-time.

Now, LeBron is catching Michael in other areas but he’s not dominating like we tend to think he is. Still, LeBron is catching Michael Jordan’s all-time points record and has less 45 point games than him which is telling of how often LeBron has hustled in the postseason.

So there’s always that.
