The Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat had a nice rivalry going in recent years but those days are dead and gone, having moved on to Brooklyn with Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. But while the former Celtics champions have moved on to Brooklyn, LeBron James sees right though them and what he sees is Celtics green.

Per CelticsBlog:

“As weird as it is seeing them in black and white, you still see green on them,” he said. “You still see green on Paul. You still see green on KG. Those guys still just have championship DNA. Being able to compete against those guys in a series is the ultimate for a competitor.”

The duo of Garnett and Pierce were responsible for holding LeBron back in Cleveland and the tables have seemingly turned on them. But regardless of their team colors, there will always be something special between LeBron, Pierce and Garnett and the background colors will always be draped in Celtics green.
