The Miami Heat are looking to start finishing the Indiana Pacers off int her Eastern Conference Finals series before things even start, and that could happen with lineup changes that choke out the Pacers straight away.
According to LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, a lineup change we can expect to see is Udonis Haslem starting in the frontcourt for Game 1 against Indiana.
Is a Udonis Haslem starting against Indy? Erik Spoelstra: “We’ll see.” Haslem: “Ask coach.” LeBron: “Yep.”

LeBron and Wade say they expect Haslem to be back in starting lineup. Spoelstra indicates all options open – even Oden in rotation.

Haslem starting is a big deal as he was critical in the Heat’s victory over the Pacers in 2013 and he looks to play a starring role once again. The Pacers are an improved team and their recent struggles don’t mean they can be slept on. That’s clearly in the mind of Erik Spoelstra as he’s treating Indiana as a formidable opponent he’s willing to unleash Haslem on in order to get the head start Miami needs.
