Miami Heat Happy to Have Three days to Prepare for Pacers

The Miami Heat managed to bounce back in Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night and the series will now take three full days off as the teams head down to Miami to resume things on Saturday night. But while you think the heat might be flying high thanks to their resounding win on Tuesday, the team remains as focused as ever and are keeping their foot on the gas in a tied series.

LeBron James spoke about the upcoming game and said that the next three days will allow for Miami to prepare for the Pacers.

Per the Sun Sentinel:

“I think the three days are going to allow us to prepare for Game 3,” Heat forward LeBron James said. “Even though we won, we’re going to break down the film as if we lost and see ways we can get better even with some of the mistakes that we made.”

Note how he said allow the team to prepare for Game 3. That’s not the cocky LeBron James some still view him as, that’s the sound of a leader looking to get his team back on track in a series he knows is hardly concrete. The Heat were flat in Game 1 and maybe it was a fluke but they can’t afford to be taking chances.

LeBron James knows this and the Heat will no doubt be prepared for the Pacers unlike they have before for a pivotal and potentially series defining Game 3 performance.
