LeBron James says Donald Sterling Situation 'Sucks', Wants It Resolved Soon

It seems that no matter how fast or hard we try to turn left from the Donald Sterling situation, it just keeps hanging around in out rearview window and can’t be shaken. We want to outrun it and get as far away as possible but the wrinkled old couple of Donald and Shelly Sterling are just hanging around like a wart that won’t go away no matter how badly we try to freeze it off.

LeBron James is the face of the NBA and he’s growing less and less amused with having to talk about the Sterlings and their smear on the NBA’s name. On Friday, James told reporters, including Yahoo! Sports’ Marc J. Spears, that the situation with the Clippers and the bind that the league is in ‘sucks’ and he wants it resolved the sooner the better.

“It’s very important. We don’t want this to linger on in our sport,” James said. “It sucks that it happened. The players, the owners and everyone associated with this game, there is no need for it. The quicker it gets done, the quicker we move on.”

We had some progress on the whole Donald Sterling selling the Clippers front but it’s not as positive as it may seem. The Clippers are likely going to transfer to the hands of Shelly Sterling before they are sold and the couple appear to be teaming up to take on the NBA together.

LeBron speaks for us all when he says he just wants this to all go away. The Sterlings have long worn out their welcome in the NBA yet they’re still around and can’t seem to take a hint.
