After taking a Dwyane Wade knee to the head late in Game 2, Paul George has been cleared to play in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Pacers announced Friday.
The team said that George hasn’t shown concussion symptoms during the return process.
George will participate in tomorrow’s shootaround and barring any unforeseen complications, he will play in Saturday’s game at the Miami Heat.
George is obviously an important part of what the Pacers do on both sides of the ball. His ability to match up with LeBron James is key to what Indiana does on defense.
George is averaging 19 points on 37.9 percent shooting, 4.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists through two games against the Miami Heat. The series, tied 1-1, resumed Saturday.
