The Miami Heat need to win Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night or they will end up missing out on the coveted three-peat and lose the series to the San Antonio Spurs. It’s been an incredible series to watch so far but for all the wrong reasons when it comes to Miami, and that’s something that seems to be irking LeBron James.
He’s a winner, and losing is something he seemingly has forgotten how to do. But down 3-1, LeBron is getting flashbacks to his days in Cleveland when coming up short was all he did and it has him wishing that he would have just missed the postseason entirely — well, sort of.
LeBron, on no halfways about this, "I'd rather get my two months off . . . or I win the Finals."

Those are strong words from a guy who needs to win the rest of the games he has scheduled this postseason and it’s looking like he has the motivation to do so. LeBron doesn’t lose, he just doesn’t, but he somehow is against the Spurs and it’s clearly bothering him.
Let’s hope this is something that lights a fire under him as history is on the line here — as is a summer of LeBron haters gloating as though their team was the one who knocked LeBron out of the Finals.
