Heat Lose NBA Finals: Twitter Slams Heat Fans For No Reason

The Miami Heat were trying to win their third straight title this season but they ran into an absolute brick wall in the San Antonio Spurs who dismantled this team in five games and left absolutely no prisoners. It was complete and total vengeance for the Spurs after the way they lost the NBA Finals last year and their performance really makes us re-evaluate how we should look at them as one of the finest dynasties in basketball history.

But this isn’t about the Spurs, as Heat fans had their hearts ripped out of their chests and it’s time for the world to twist the knife by gloating as though their own team won the NBA Finals. People love to pretend that the Heat have no fans but there were more than a few who supported their team in it’s darkest hour, thus proving to the world that Heat fans exist and they’re a lot more loyal than most fans who are dumping on them after Game 5.

Unfortunately, the Twitter world was brutally cruel to the Heat and it’s just shows that NBA fans still love to hate the Heat and their fans.

LOL I’m sure there were some Waaaayy worse tweets out there. Way to keep it g rated. Lol and I wouldn’t say for no reason. These fans were comparing this heat team team to the championship bulls?! Lmao don’t think mjs teams would EVER get blowout 3 games in a row. Lmao

  • trinity

They deserve it because a large number of them are fake ass bandwagon fans. Didn’t give a damn about the squad before LeBron got there, and then start booing and leaving early during the first signs of trouble. pathetic and funny lol.

    • Illmatic1234

You realize that u are playing right in the hands of the media right? The media didn’t cover the fact that the over 10k fans that stood by after game 4 loss to still chant “let’s go heat”. Also you talk about bandwagon fans but these are the exact fans that now support the spurs. A few years back it was the same fans that called the spurs boring and counted them out.

      • trinity

Actually, the media did cover that fact. ESPN first take covered games 3 and 4 from south beach, and some fans participated. Even after that utter destruction in Miami, some fans were still very enthusiastic. Does that change the fact that another large number bailed early? No. Does it change the fact that before they jumped ship, they booed the team? No. Does that change the fact that while some are true fans, a large number are fake bandwagon fans who bail at the first sign of trouble? No. The thing with the spurs is that even as people acknowledge that they aren’t the sexy pick, their fans and everyone in the NBA know they are the most respected team in the league. Sure, the big 3 are old. San Antonio isn’t as hot as south beach. They don’t play superstar ball and they have no flashy personalities. But they are a dynasty and they are still the best because they play as one. The fans recognize that.

        • Illmatic1234

You are as clueless as your fellow Matrix inhabitants “trinity”. Spurs have just as many bandwagon fans as the heat for ur information. One key item of note is that Spurs fans outside of San Antonio is mainlycomposed of those that HAatae the heat. The Spurs are just the convenient opposition. You can ttry to make ur point as emphatically as you want be this I’d the truth.

Now let’s address the booing. The fans in the stadium have every right to do so considering they spent their hard earned cash to come see a competitive ball game and their team stinks it up. However, these fans are not a general reflection of the core Heat fanbasr that had to endure many losing seasons and heartbreak. I would argue that it is the San Antonio fans that are sspoiled. When was the last time the Spurs had a losing season?

To conclude, try to be as passionate as u want, but stop being so naive as the rest of these sheep.
          Goodbye.

          • trinity

The truth according to you maybe, which doesn’t mean shit to me since you’re wrong. It’s one thing to boo an unsuccessful franchise. It’s another to boo the two time defending champions at the first sign of serious trouble. Fake, bandwagon fans. Not every single one, but a large amount. Feel free to deny it if you’re delusional. That’s on you. As for the spurs, people were rooting for them because everyone loves to see the heat lose. But nobody is repping the spurs just because of it. They have never been and will never be the sexy pick, so tell yourself whatever you want to about that. Take care.

          • Illmatic1234

You are so stupid. You just proved my point that even your Spurs have a large number of bandwagon fans. If you are not a bandwagon fan then by YOUR definition it shouldnt matter whether they r a sexy pick. The fact that they want the heat to lose means they are anti heat and not pro spurs, which by your definition is what it means to be a bandwagon fan. Goodbye miss great job on the hatrick of stupidity just in time for the world cup.

        • Illmatic1234

Just one final thing… The term bandwagon is used so improperly that most have no idea what that means in sports. There are some that support players and others that support teams. My dear, you have zero say in what is right or wrong. At the end of the day it is about preference. If Lebron leaves the heat would the team fanbase drop? Absolutely yes. But that’s only because there are fans out there that love Lebron more than the Heat. This is not bandwagon or cheer leading by any means. There are many that have followed him since high school that would support him where ever he goes. Again, its about preference. Some people love the flashy style and others prefer fundamentals.

So please stop repeating what you have heard in the media through your earpiece. Learn to think for yourself instead of being aachine. peace…

          • trinity

I stopped reading after “if LeBron leaves the heat would the fan base drop? Absolutely yes”. Lol you just literally wrote two long winded messages just to agree with me. Hahahahahaha. Sorry to inform you boy, but that is the very definition of a bandwagon fan. Lol the stupidity in some of these debates never ceases to amaze me. Take care man.

          • Illmatic1234

No you imbecile this is exactly my point. The definition of a bandwagon fan is up for interpretation you dunce. Way to fail at reading comprehension and at life.

          • trinity

Lmao! I thought you were “done talking”? Everything you just said makes me feel sorry for you, because it highlights what a pathetic loser you are. The fact that you said I “fail at life” without knowing anything whatsoever about me proves that it’s really your own life that’s a failure. I don’t entertain sad people like you on this site, so this is the last thing I will ever say to you. I will not read your response, because you don’t mean enough for me to trouble myself. Word of advice, take some power over your own life, because you are clearly weak and powerless right now, and that’s a shame. Take care.

          • Illmatic1234

Right because ccalling people “fake ass” and pathetic as you did initially is so much better. Stop backpedaling for sympathy votes. I take back the “losing at life” statement because you r right no one deserves to be target to iinternet hate but don’t start arguments based on improper assumptions. People just handle shit differently. I am a big time Lebron fan since he was identified as one of the top talent in middleachool so by your account I am a bandwagon fan of the Heat. But I turn off the TV because i can’t watch Lebron lose and I feel helpless so I handle it my own way. Who r u to say how fans handle loses? Ever thought that those that leave games early are just passionate or just handle losses differently?

    • danesh

You are basing your opinion on the story the media has enjoyed creating. I recall thousands of pacers fans leaving game 2 early this year…but we’ll ignore that because it’s not miami.

      • trinity

I’m basing my opinion on what I hear and see with my own two eyes and ears. So basically your argument is that some other fans are fake ass band hopping fans too so heat fans should get a pass for being that? *facepalm*

        • danesh

Not really. What I was trying to say is that there are plenty of REAL heat fans and plenty of bandwagon fans, but I think that’s true with every team. The media has chosen to play up the heat bandwagon narrative.

          • trinity

Actually, I pointed that out. There were some true fans hanging on even after games 3 and 4. It’s just that there’s also a large number who are fake, and those are the ones I truly can’t stand. That’s my opinion. No disrespect intended, to reply to your second response to me. I just feel strongly about it.

        • danesh

Also, you seem like an intelligent person so when somebody has a different opinion, you can be respectful in your disagreement.

  • bridgebuilder78

Florida is the drainage pipe of America and full of people of Latino and Hispanic descent who are fickle, disloyal, shallow, and cowardly. This is why there are so many bandwagon fans in Miami.

    • trinity

What the hell does race have to do with that? There were plenty of white people and black people booing and leaving early too, even more than Mexicans, so your comment is wierd and stupid.

  • ssw265

The Heat fans had every right to Boo, it not about how you lose but the way you lose Miami goes to San Antonio and split the first two games, well the fans are thinking we got a series than they come home only to be slaughter in the next two games. The Heat didn’t even put up of a fight against San Antonio with the exception of the first quarter in game 2 they just lay down and died there was know fight with this team they were Dead Men Walking know resistance at all to San Antonio Beat Down on National Television and the fans saw their team taking this beat down they had every right to Boo and could left earlier than they left, after watching a Professional team in San Antonio playing against a Miami team that look like a High School Team. Give the Fans a break the Miami Heat got what the deserve some very loud Booing,
