Dwyane Wade’s ex-wife filed a federal lawsuit this week against her former husband’s attorney and police, alleging they filed false charges against her and assaulted her.
Siohvaughn Funches-Wade, who in 2011 lost custody of her and Wade’s two boys, says in the lawsuit filed Monday that Wade’s attorney James Pritikin and Dolton police were among the conspirators who “worked together in a common plan to cause false charges to be initiated against” Funches-Wade.
Wade filed for divorce in 2007, which was granted in 2010 after a lengthy court battle. In 2011, Wade was rewarded sole custody of his two children with Funches, Zaire and Zion.
Wade became engaged to actress Gabrielle Union in 2013.
