Bill Simmons Thinks LeBron James Stays in Miami

It seems like everyone has an opinion on LeBron James and his contract situation. As sit and wait on The King’s decision, reading reports about how he is leaning this way or the other, it’s interesting to get some information on the other side of things. How teams may try to get him.

Miami Heat fans may resent the fact that Bill Simmons will be making an appearance on their favorite Heat blog, but he had some interesting things to say regarding the Summer of James, part two.

Simmons has said many times on his podcast that he thinks the Clippers are the best fit for LeBron if he does decide to leave Miami. However, the organization is not nearly as stable as that of the Heat.

The Rockets would be an interesting situation, but I just don’t know if I can see LeBron dealing with Dwight Howard and James Harden’s lack of defensive passion.

Oh, and the Cavs? Unless Dan Gilbert writes one hell of a comic sans apology letter, I just don’t see it happening.

If LeBron does simply opt in for another year, it would just put this whole exercise on hold. It would beg questions throughout the season about contract extensions, summer plans, roster construction and championship chasing.

It also might be the easiest decision for LeBron, who made a very difficult one t

he last time he was in this situation.
