The Miami Heat have a lot of decisions to make this offseason and that means choosing which players they want to bring back and which ones to jettison. What the Big 3 do will play a major factor in what the Heat can do in terms of signing players as they tie up virtually al of the money Miami has before they start to get into the luxury tax and that’s just going to complicate things further.
Chances are, all three opt out and only two return, but the Heat are also focusing on another name they’d like to bring back. According to Pat Riley, the Heat want to see Greg Oden return in 2014-15.
Pat Riley said a severe back injury kept Greg Oden out of games late this past season, but Heat would like to have him return.

This is wildly interesting as the Heat really didn’t see much at all out of Oden this year but he seemed to be a major player on the team regardless. This leave the door open to hoping Oden can use this summer to fully rehab his body and return in 2014-15 as a guy who could possibly take over the Heat’s starting center position.
