LeBron James has opted out of his contract with the Miami Heat and will be testing free agent waters for the second time in his career, which is something Heat fans didn’t want to hear.
Two people who especially didn’t want to hear that were Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh but it appears that both have been blindsided by the move happening as soon as it did. In fact, according to Yahoo! Sports reporter Adrian Wojnarowski, the Heat Big 3 have yet to even sit down with each other to discuss their future in Miami.
LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh still haven’t had sit-down to discuss future together, league sources tell Yahoo. Coming soon.

It’s hard to say just how far into this we should be reading as LeBron doesn’t really need to consider the feelings of Wade or Bosh in his personal decision to opt out, but it might have been better PR had they sat down before hand to decide what they wanted to do.
Either way, there was a pretty decent chance that the Heat Big 3 were going to opt out — at least partially — this offseason and LeBron James seems to be the first domino to fall.
