Miami Heat Will Not Acquire Kyle Lowry, Ric Bucher Says Report Is False

It was reported that the Miami Heat were in final talks to acquire Kyle Lowry from the Toronto Raptors but those talks seem to be going nowhere. The reason they’re going nowhere is because they apparently never took place.

Bleacher Report’s Ric Bucher took to Twitter to officially renege his reporting on the story and report that he had been duped by his sources and that the Lowry trade talks were completely and utterly false.

This is a pretty bad gaffe on the part of Bucher but it means that things are back to the way they were for the Heat. Miami will no doubt be targeting a point guard in free agency but they apparently won’t be acquiring Lowry any time soon.
