Heat Rumors: Miami Reaches Out to Kyle Lowry

NBA Free Agency is officially open which means that teams will be making pitches to players they think they can bring in to help next season and the Miami Heat are among the best teams on the market making pitches.

One player that the Heat have been endlessly linked to in recent day is Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry and Miami has wasted no time in reaching out to Lowry now that free agency is officially open and everyone who isn’t under contract is fair game.

Lowry makes a lot of sense for the Heat as they’ll be looking for a point guard on the market this offseason and Lowry has already been someone they’ve had their eyes on for a while now. There’s a growing belief though that the Raptors will offer Lowry more than the Heat would be willing to in order to keep him and as much as they seem to love Lowry, Pat Riley isn’t going to be overpaying for a guy that he may be able to get elsewhere in another player.
