The Miami Heat are one of many teams trying to be aggressive on the open market and they aren’t going to be shy about who they pursue this summer. They need to find out a way to convince the Big 3, specifically LeBron James, to come back and the only way they’ll do that is to make sure that they show a serious effort in who they try to add to the roster.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Miami Heat have reached out to Luol Deng and are registering significant interest in him on the open market.

Deng may take less money to come to Miami but even if he doesn’t his demands of $12 million aren’t really that bad if you look at what he’d bring to the table in South Beach.
It would be a direct violation of Deng’s loyalty to the Chicago Bulls if he joined rank with the Heat and he may be able to go to a contender without sacrificing any money, but the Heat are a nice fit for Deng and it’s clear that Pat Riley is serious about bringing in big talent to make this roster more attractive to the Big 3 .
