Report: Pat Riley Reached Out to Luol Deng

Pat Riley has called the representation of Luol Deng and is showing interest in adding the small forward, according to Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski.

Deng is also drawing interest from the Los Angeles Clippers and Atlanta Hawks, according to NBA.com’s David Aldridge.

Deng spent the latter half of last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers after being dealt by the Chicago Bulls at the trade deadline. Deng is likely seeking to sign with a contender this summer.

Deng would potentially give Miami a versatile forward who would play physical defense and hit corner three’s. Miami has also shown interest in forwards Shawn Marion, Vince Carter and Trevor Ariza, per reports.
