Miami Heat Rumors: Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh Unsure About LeBron James Returning

The Miami Heat are looking at ways they can convince LeBron James to come back to South Beach next years and so far they’ve been striking out. Free agency is only 72 hours old and already the Heat have looked less than impressive when it comes to signing new talent.

According to Chris Broussard, Wade and Bosh are nervous James will leave the Heat and have even discussed the possibility of playing without him.

But sources who have spoken with two of the Big 3 said that was not the case. Bosh and Wade are intent on returning to Miami, but neither of them knows what James will do.

“It’s not a done deal,” said one source, when asked about James’ return to Miami. “That’s for sure.”

Bosh and Wade were so uncertain about James’s future after last week’s meeting that one of them spoke about what the Heat might look like without James, according to one source.

This is a pretty serious situation, and it’s one that we can’t shield ourselves from just because it’s coming from Broussard. The reality is that the Heat have been making no real effort to sign anyone, as all we are hearing are rumors and those rumors either turn out to be false or just lead nowhere.

Miami apparently had interest in both Kyle Lowry and Marcin Gortat, both of whom they failed to sign. That might not seem like a big deal on the second day of free agency but LeBron is watching closely and so far he’s not impressed.
