The Miami Heat are still trying to figure out their free agent situation but a name that has refused to go away is that of fee agent swignman Luol Deng.
In what has to be a first, ESPN beat Adrian Wojnarowski to the punch on a story as the typically NFL-minded Josiana Anderson reports the Miami heat and Pat Riley will be meeting with Luol Deng today in Chicago.

Of course, Woj followed up quickly to confirm that the meeting is happening.

Deng has been seen around Chicago a lot recently which has fueled rumors that he may be heading back to his old team. But Pat Riley is feeling the pressure and his pursuit of Deng is being stepped up in the wake of watching the wheels fall off in South Beach this past week.
There’s no saying that the Heat will be a fit for Deng, but something needs to be done as the Heat have the most to lose this offseason and they’re one of the teams we’ve heard from the leas.
