Miami Heat, Josh McRoberts Agree to 4-Year, $23M Deal

The Miami Heat were getting blasted for not making any free agent moves this offseason but that has all changed in the matter of a few hours. Following a weekend of hearing about how LeBron James was going to leave the Heat, Miami has added two free agents to bring to the table when they meet with LeBron James this week.

Miami has agreed to sign Danny Granger but that agreement came after Josh McRoberts already agreed to a mid-level deal with the Heat.

Heat fans will best remember McRoberts as the guy who elbowed LeBron James in the throat during the first round of the NBA Playoffs, but it appears that the hatchet has been buried. LeBron is the reason Miami is making these signings and McRoberts offers so much more than being the guy who elbowed LeBron in the throat — at least hopefully.
