The Miami Heat and their fans got a pretty bad scare on Wednesday when it was reported that LeBron James had agreed to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers following two weeks of thinking about his future. But while Chris Sheridan’s sources might be telling him the truth, the rest of the NBA writers out there are sending out the opposite report.

Then we got the Woj bomb that calmed everyone in South Beach down a tremendous amount, with even Chris Broussard getting in on the action and had a report that lined up with reality for once.
LeBron James left the meeting without committing to a deal with the Heat, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

Source insists LeBron has not yet made his decision

It appears safe to say that only LeBron James knows what way he is leaning right now but that still might not mean that he’s leaning towards the Heat. Not committing to the Heat or giving them a strong indication of his intentions this offseason is not a good sign but it’s also not as fatal as what was being reported.
A decision will be made soon but it’s clear that LeBron has a lot to ponder before making a final choice.
