Miami Heat Moving Quickly to Re-Sign Dwyane Wade, Udonis Haslem

The Miami Heat lost LeBron James this morning but it was a quick mourning period for the front office before it was back to making waves in free agency. After blowing up the Houston Rockets plans to sign Chris Bosh by snagging him on a five-year, $118 million contract, the Miami Heat are moving quickly to re-sign not only Dwyane Wade but also Udonis Haslem as well.

It’s been a quick turnaround for the Heat as they’ve managed to not only snag Bosh away frm what looked like an unbelievably sweet deal with the Rockets but they’re looking to not miss a beat in building a contending team sans LeBron James.

His loss still stings Heat fans — as it should — but the burn is being soothed in the sweetest and most unexpected way imaginable.

We need Wade despite his decline, do a two year max contract and let him earn his near max contract .. we’ll need two years to develop the freshman class anyway.

probably longer with player options since both players have demonstrated they can be trusted to work with the team.
