Miami Heat Use Room Exception to Re-Sign Udonis Haslem

The Miami Heat will use its $2.7 million cap exception to re-sign Udonis Haslem, according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

Haslem previously opted out of his contract that would have paid him upwards on $4 million next season. UD, who took a pay cut back in 2010, continues to make sacrifices for the Heat. Winderman has more information regarding the exception.

This is the only exception Miami had to use. With Dwyane Wade and Haslem both re-signed, the Heat’s big moves are over save for signing players for depth to the veteran minimum.
