Miller won two NBA Championships with James in Miami. James is trying to convince former teammates who can stretch the floor to join him with the Cavs, including Ray Allen and maybe even James Jones in addition to Miller.
The Heat amnestied Miller before last season, a move that reportedly irritated James. Because Miami used its one-time amnesty clause on Miller, they cannot re-sign him.
Miller sat out many games with multiple injuries during his time in South Beach, but played in all 82 games last season for the Memphis Grizzlies.
